Special Weather Statement issued May 21 at 1:41AM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC

At 141 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 16 miles south of Hendersonville to 4 miles
west of Greenville Downtown to 7 miles east of Clemson. Movement was
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Paris Mountain State Park, Tigerville, Fork Shoals, Williamston, West
Pelzer, Roebuck, Cleveland, GSP Airport, Inman, and Powdersville.
