For the Lower Mississippi River…including Red River Landing, Baton
Rouge…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Baton Rouge.

* WHEN…Until early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 35.0 feet, River islands from Red River Landing
downstream to Baton Rouge will be inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 35.3 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 29.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow evening and continue falling to 27.1 feet Wednesday,
June 18.
