Red Flag Warning issued May 23 at 3:19AM MDT until May 23 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Grand Junction CO

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Fire
Weather Watch below 6000 feet for gusty winds, low relative
humidity and dry fuels, which is in effect from Saturday
afternoon through Saturday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA…In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 203 Lower
Colorado River below 6000 feet.

* TIMING…For the Red Flag Warning, from noon today to 8 PM MDT
this evening. For the Fire Weather Watch, from Saturday
afternoon through Saturday evening.

* WINDS…Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…6 to 11 percent.

* IMPACTS…Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
