At 441 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Saint Lucie West, or near Port Saint Lucie, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Port Saint Lucie, Walton, Fort Pierce, White City, and Jensen Beach.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 23 at 4:41PM EDT until May 23 at 4:45PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However small hail and gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service Melbourne.
