* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Illinois River near Watts.
* WHEN…Until Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…At 15.0 feet, minor flooding occurs from the Arkansas
border to near Fidler’s Bend. Permanent campgrounds are affected.
Extreme turbulence makes the river unsafe for floating.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 4.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Sunday evening to a crest of 14.5 feet early Monday morning.
