Special Weather Statement issued May 25 at 2:34PM AKDT by NWS Juneau AK

A gale force low is expected to swing through the eastern Gulf of
Alaska early next week, bringing elevated seas to the eastern
Gulf.

If the current projected timing and strength of this low remains,
it would line up with high tide, which would result in higher than
normal water levels Monday night into Tuesday of up to 1 foot
above normally expected forecast high tide. .

Boats that are docked on the western side of of Prince of Wales
Island and near Port Alexander could be impacted by the higher
than normal water levels.
