Special Weather Statement issued May 26 at 4:32PM EDT by NWS Miami FL

At 432 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm near Loxahatchee NWR, or 12 miles north of
Coral Springs. This storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hamptons At Boca Raton, Loxahatchee NWR, Mission Bay, Whisper Walk,
South County Regional Park, and Boca Raton Equestrian.
