Special Weather Statement issued May 27 at 12:27AM CDT by NWS Corpus Christi TX

At 1227 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Goldfinch, or 12 miles southwest of Charlotte, moving
southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Choke Canyon, Tilden, Calliham, Cross, Zella, Fowlerton, and
Crowther.

This includes Interstate 37 between mile markers 76 and 77.
