Adams Counties.

Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Claiborne, Jefferson,
Warren, Tensas and Madison Counties.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Natchez.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 48 feet, Carthage Point Road becomes impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 47.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 47.8
feet early Sunday morning.
– Action stage is 38 feet.
– Flood stage is 48 feet.
