* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…Arkansas River at Morrilton.
* WHEN…From this evening to Friday evening.
* IMPACTS…At 30.0 feet, Commercial and industrial establishments
downstream of the State Highway 9 Bridge are effected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 28.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.7
feet early tomorrow afternoon (May 28) in action stage, but
remain just below minor flood stage by less than half of a
foot, thus the necessity for the flood advisory.
– Action stage is 29.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
