…The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following river in Arkansas…

Black River At Pocahontas affecting Randolph County.

For the Black River…including Corning, Pocahontas, Black Rock…
elevated river levels are forecast.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Black River at Pocahontas.

* WHEN…From this evening to Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, Agricultural lands along the river east
and south of Pocahontas will be impacted by high water. Equipment
and livestock should be moved to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.7
feet just after midnight tonight (May 28) in action stage,
but less than half of a foot from minor flood stage, thus the
necessity for the flood advisory.
– Action stage is 16.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

Disaster Recovery Center Opens in Breckinridge County FRANKFORT, Ky. –A Disaster Recovery Center has opened in Breckinridge County to offer in-person support to Kentucky uninsured and underinsured survivors who experienced loss as the result of the April severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides and mudslides. The new Disaster Recovery Center in Breckinridge County is located at:   McDaniels Community Center, 10762 S. Highway 259, McDaniels, KY 40152  Working hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday. Disaster Recovery Centers are one-stop shops where you can get information and advice on available assistance

Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2   Meteorological Summary: Unsettled and active weather will continue today throughout the Peninsula as an upper-level disturbance and lingering frontal boundary will continue to bring scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms throughout the day (80-near 100% chance of rain). The heaviest rainfall looks to remain over the Florida Keys and southernmost Peninsula areas this morning before additional activity develops with daytime heating and spreading inland. Moisture continues to be pulled northward from the tropics, which will also help for isolated showers and thunderstorms to return across the I-10
