Special Weather Statement issued May 27 at 11:12PM CDT by NWS Midland/Odessa TX

At 1111 PM CDT/1011 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 13 miles northeast of
Maljamar to 23 miles southwest of Eunice Airport to 15 miles
southwest of Orla. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hobbs, Lovington, Eunice, Monument, Humble City, Eunice Airport,
Nadine, Red Bluff Reservoir, Orla, Slash Ranch, Knowles, Halfway, Lea
County Regional Airport, Industrial Airpark, Oil Center, and Red
Bluff.
