Special Weather Statement issued May 28 at 12:42AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

At 1241 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Seminole Canyon State Park, or 9 miles southwest of Comstock, moving
east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Comstock, Box Canyon, Amistad Acres, Seminole Canyon State Park, Long
Point, Spur 406 Campground, Pecos River Boat Ramp, and Salem Point.
