Special Weather Statement issued May 28 at 4:15PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

At 415 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles west of Lakewood Park, or 10 miles west of Indrio. This
thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Fort Pierce, Saint Lucie Airport, Lakewood Park, Fort Pierce North,
and Fort Pierce South.
