* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 826 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms moving towards Upper Jefferson, Upper
Plaquemines, and Orleans parishes. Minor flooding is expected
to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3.5
inches of rain feel earlier today. A flash flood warning will
likely be needed for some of the area.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

New Orleans, Marrero, Harvey, Timberlane, Avondale, Metairie,
Belle Chasse, Chalmette, Jefferson, Gretna, Harahan,
Westwego, Bridge City, Terrytown, Woodmere, Estelle, Arabi,
