Special Weather Statement issued May 29 at 8:19AM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA

At 819 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
capable of producing funnel clouds along a line extending from near
Tanner Williams to near Gautier. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Funnel clouds and winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…If a funnel cloud briefly touches down, minor damage to
outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down
tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Wade, Big Point, St. Martin, Escatawpa, Helena, Gulf Hills, Hurley,
Vancleave, Gautier, Gulf Park Estates, Ocean Springs, Hickory Hills,
Moss Point, D’iberville, Latimer, and Biloxi.

This includes the following Interstates…
Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 48 and 76.
Interstate 110 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 3.
