Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 30 at 4:20AM AKDT until June 1 at 9:00PM AKDT by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Water levels 1.5 to 2.5 feet above the normal highest
tide line.

* WHERE…Along the Kuskokwim Delta coast, including the
communities of Kwigillingok, Kongiganak, and Kipnuk.

* WHEN…Noon AKDT today through 9 PM AKDT Sunday, during high
tide.

* IMPACTS…Coastal erosion and flooding of low lying areas is
likely.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Southerly winds will increase beginning
today, which will lead to high water levels during high tide
this afternoon/evening. The successive high tides are expected
to reach similar water levels on Saturday and Sunday
afternoon/evening as winds shift southeasterly and intensify
this weekend. Winds diminish for Monday, likely ending the
threat of flooding during high tide.
