The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
West Central Coke County in west central Texas…
Northeastern Sterling County in west central Texas…

* Until 130 AM CDT.

* At 1023 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Doppler radar estimates that 1
and a half to 3 inches of rain has fallen in the past hour. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Sterling City and Broome.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings…
Walnut crossing Little Walnut Creek and Walnut crossing Walnut Creek.
