Wilkinson Counties.

Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Madison, Warren,
Claiborne, Jefferson and Tensas Counties.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Vicksburg.

* WHEN…Until Sunday, June 15.

* IMPACTS…At 39.5 feet, The Long Lake Road to Eagle Lake Road
remains impassable about 1 mile north of the Long Lake Community.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 42 feet and nearly
steady.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 39.6
feet Saturday evening.
– Action stage is 35 feet.
– Flood stage is 43 feet.
