Preston County in northeastern West Virginia…
Northwestern Tucker County in northeastern West Virginia…
Southeastern Marion County in northern West Virginia…
Eastern Monongalia County in northern West Virginia…

* Until 145 AM EDT.

* At 1034 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain across
the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.8 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE…Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Morgantown, Kingwood, Rowlesburg, Newburg, Brookhaven, Reedsville,
Masontown, Albright, Tunnelton, Brandonville, Hannahsville,
Bruceton Mills, Gladesville, Browns Chapel, Fellowsville, Israel,
Valley Point, Laurel Run, Cheat Lake and Clifton Mills.

Several roads were flooded across the warned area.
