Flood Warning issued May 30 at 9:10PM CDT until June 1 at 1:40PM CDT by NWS Mobile AL

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following river in
Alabama…

Tombigbee River Near Coffeeville Dam affecting Clarke, Washington
and Choctaw Counties.

For the Tombigbee River…including Coffeeville Dam – upstream,
Coffeeville Dam, Leroy…Minor flooding is forecast.

The next statement will be issued when updates occur.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Tombigbee River near Coffeeville Dam.

* WHEN…Until early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 29.0 feet, pastureland becomes flooded. Livestock
should be moved to higher ground. Old Ferry Road near the river
begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 30.3 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 PM CDT Friday was 30.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday morning and continue falling to 18.9 feet Wednesday
evening.
– Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
