…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Alabama…

Tombigbee River Near Coffeeville Dam affecting Clarke, Choctaw
and Washington Counties.

For the Tombigbee River…including Coffeeville Dam – upstream,
Coffeeville Dam, Leroy…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Tombigbee River near Coffeeville Dam.

* WHEN…Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 29.0 feet, Pastureland becomes flooded. Livestock
should be moved to higher ground. Old Ferry Road near the river
begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 30.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 30.3
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 29.0 feet.

At 420 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Columbia to near Alachua. Movement was west at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Gainesville, Bell, Worthington Spring, Ichetucknee Spring, Columbia, Alachua, High Springs, Fort White, Worthington Springs, and Providence.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northern Florida, including the following counties, Alachua and Marion. * WHEN...Until 530 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 420 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding
