At 1227 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This
cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along a line extending
from 17 nm south of Chandeleur Sound to 32 nm south of Farewell Buoy,
moving southeast at 5 knots.
