* WHERE…A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
county, Palm Beach.

* WHEN…Until 1245 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1039 AM EDT, a member of the public reported heavy rain
leading to street flooding and road closures in the advisory
area due to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach,
Palm Beach, Tequesta, Juno Beach, North Palm Beach, Lake
Park, Juno Ridge, Port Of Palm Beach and Fau North Campus.

At 736 PM PDT, Doppler radar continued to indicate thunderstorms producing heavy rain near Coyote Springs and along the US-93 corridor north of Apex. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. A rain gage at Elbow Mountain reported 1.54 inches of rain in less than one hour. HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads.
