Trinity River at Riverside affecting Trinity, Polk, Walker and
San Jacinto Counties.

Navasota River near Normangee affecting Grimes, Brazos and
Madison Counties.

For the Trinity River…including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor,
Goodrich, Moss Bluff, Liberty…Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Navasota River…including Normangee…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Navasota River near Normangee.

* WHEN…Until Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding continues with
widespread inundation of the floodplain in the vicinity of the
gage with the river more than 1 mile wide. Long Trussel Road in
northeast Brazos County below State Highway 21 is threatened.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.0 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 AM CDT Sunday was 16.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Tuesday morning and continue falling to 10.0 feet
Friday morning.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
16.1 feet on 07/09/2007.
