Flood Advisory issued June 2 at 4:17PM EDT until June 2 at 6:30PM EDT by NWS Miami FL

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
county, Miami-Dade.

* WHEN…Until 630 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 417 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Homestead, Black Point, The Redland, Kendall, Goulds,
Princeton, Naranja, West Perrine, Cutler Bay, Homestead Base,
Zoo Miami, Richmond West, Leisure City, Richmond Heights,
Country Walk, Palmetto Bay, The Crossings, South Miami
Heights, Palmetto Estates and Three Lakes.
