Special Weather Statement issued June 1 at 8:29PM MDT by NWS Goodland KS

At 829 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles northwest of Seibert, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Kit
Carson County.

This includes Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 397 and
415.
