* WHAT…Elevated surf of 3 to 5 feet with sets to 6 feet
expected, primarily for south to southwest facing beaches. Also,
there is a chance of thunderstorms that could produce lightning.

* WHERE…San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County
Coastal Areas.

* WHEN…Surf hazards through this afternoon. Chance of lightning
this afternoon through tonight.

* IMPACTS…Strong rip currents will create hazardous swimming
conditions. Lightning is possible in the vicinity of any
thunderstorms.
