URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 357 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 450 PM CDT Mon Jun 2 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Northwest Iowa Northern Kansas Southwest Minnesota Nebraska Far Southeast South Dakota * Effective this Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning from 450 PM until 100 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events to 2.5 inches in diameter possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...Severe storms are expected to develop along a front that extends across Nebraska into northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota, with the most intense storms capable of large hail and damaging winds. Clusters of storms should evolve this evening, with the severe threat potentially lingering into the overnight particularly across the southern half of Nebraska and possibly far northern Kansas.
