Special Weather Statement issued June 2 at 9:29PM CDT by NWS Amarillo TX

At 929 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Simms, or 15 miles west of Hereford, moving northeast
at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
