* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Portions of Central and South Central Kansas, including
the following counties, in Central Kansas, Chase and Marion. In
South Central Kansas, Butler.

* WHEN…Until 1100 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 853 PM CDT, Flooding continues from runoff of heavier
rainfall earlier on Tuesday.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Peabody, Cottonwood Falls, Whitewater, Strong City, Florence,
Potwin, Elbing, Burns, Cassoday, Bazaar, Elmdale, Matfield
Green, Cedar Point, Wonsevu, Tallgrass Prairie Preserve,
Tallgrass Prairie and Saffordville.
