Special Weather Statement issued June 4 at 10:39AM EDT by NWS Miami FL

At 1039 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southwest of Chokoloskee, moving north
at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Everglades City, Plantation Island, Carnestown, Big Cypress National
Preserve, and Port Of The Island.
