The National Weather Service in Paducah has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Carlisle County in western Kentucky…

* Until 1015 AM CDT.

* At 833 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain in water is covering Kentucky 307 north of
Kentucky 121. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
