Flood Advisory issued June 5 at 8:32AM CDT until June 7 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Norman OK

…The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Oklahoma…

Salt Fork Arkansas River near Alva affecting Alfalfa and Woods
Counties.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Salt Fork Arkansas River near Alva.

* WHEN…From this morning to early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 11.0 feet, Bankfull levels occur along the river in
parts of northeastern Woods and northern Alfalfa counties.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 3.3 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet.
– Forecast…The Salt Fork Arkansas River is expected to rise
to a crest of 10.7 feet tomorrow evening. Additional rises
are possible thereafter.
– Action stage is 10.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 14.5 feet.
