…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas…

Neosho River near Emporia affecting Lyon County.

Cottonwood River near Emporia affecting Lyon County.

Neosho River Near Neosho Rapids affecting Lyon County.

Pottawatomie Creek at Lane affecting Franklin County.

Pottawatomie Creek near Garnett affecting Anderson County.

Marais Des Cygnes River at Ottawa affecting Franklin County.

Marais Des Cygnes River near Quenemo affecting Franklin and Osage
Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Pottawatomie Creek at Lane.

* WHEN…Until early Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 23.0 feet, Minor low land flooding begins along the
creek.
At 23.5 feet, Virginia Road floods north of the bridge closing the
road.
At 24.0 feet, Douglas Road floods about a quarter mile northwest
of Lane.
At 25.0 feet, Cloud Road, also known as the road to Richmond floods.
At 27.0 feet, North Kansas Avenue just north of the railroad
tracks floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 25.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.3
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage tomorrow evening.
– Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
