Cottonwood River at Cottonwood Falls affecting Chase County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Cottonwood River near Plymouth.

* WHEN…Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 34.0 feet, Road A becomes completely inundated near
the river gage site, south of Hwy 50. Expect flooding of crops and
fields.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 33.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.0
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Friday evening.
– Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
