Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 5 at 12:31AM CDT until June 5 at 1:30AM CDT by NWS Lubbock TX

At 1229 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of
Tulia, moving east at 40 mph. A wind gust to 81 mph was measured
near Tulia with this storm.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR TULIA AND MACKENZIE RESERVOIR.

HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts and golf ball size hail.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

Locations impacted include…
Tulia, Silverton, Vigo Park, and Mackenzie Reservoir.

AQAPSR The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has extended an Ozone High Pollution Advisory for the Phoenix Metro Area through Saturday. This means that forecast weather conditions combined with existing ozone levels are expected to result in local maximum 8-hour ozone concentrations that pose a health risk. Adverse health effects increase as air quality deteriorates.
