Marine Weather Statement issued June 5 at 3:01PM AKDT by NWS Juneau AK

A gale force low will move into the western Gulf late Friday night
into Saturday. A front extending from this low will bring high
end gales and eleveated seas to the northern Gulf coast, with the
strongest winds expected west of Icy Bay, arriving by early
Saturday. A barrier jet is expected to develop in the area of Cape
Suckling by mid to late Saturday morning, bringing a brief period
of low end storm force wind gusts up to 50 kt and seas building
up to 15 to 20ft during this time. Winds begin to decrease
through Saturday evening.
