Flood Advisory issued June 7 at 9:23AM CDT until June 7 at 12:30PM CDT by NWS Norman OK

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of western Oklahoma, including the following
counties, Beckham, Custer, Roger Mills and Washita.

* WHEN…Until 1230 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 923 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Elk City, Clinton, Sayre, Cordell, Cheyenne, Burns Flat,
Sentinel, Hammon, Dill City, Canute, Butler, Carter, Reydon,
Bessie, Rocky, Foss, Sweetwater, Strong City, Foss Reservoir
and Cloud Chief.
