Marais Des Cygnes River at Osawatomie affecting Miami County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Marais Des Cygnes River at Osawatomie.

* WHEN…Until late Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 28.0 feet, Low-lying areas along the river begin to
flood.
At 31.0 feet, 347th Road or Main Street east of Highway 169 is
under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 33.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river will fall below flood stage late
tomorrow morning to 17.1 feet Sunday evening. It will then
rise to 17.9 feet Monday morning. It will fall to 17.8 feet
early Monday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
