Nuisance flooding and ponding water within urban and low-lying/poor drainage areas cannot be ruled out; quick 2-4″ of rainfall possible within any thunderstorm.
Hot and humid conditions promote triple digit heat index values (98 to 103-degrees)statewide before rain relief this afternoon.
Lingering moisture, light winds, and warm temperatures allow areas of fog and low clouds to develop tonight across North Florida and localized pockets of interior Florida.
