* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE…Mississippi River at Vicksburg.
* WHEN…Until Wednesday, June 18.
* IMPACTS…At 36.5 feet, Water begins to affect the Long Lake
Community. The low road to Kings Island becomes
impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 36.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise to 36.6 feet this afternoon.
It will then fall to 36.0 feet early Tuesday morning. It will
rise to 36.8 feet early Friday afternoon. It will then fall
again and remain below flood stage.
– Action stage is 35.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
