Flood Advisory issued June 8 at 6:16AM CDT until June 8 at 9:15AM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA

* WHAT…Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of southwest Arkansas, including the following
counties, Columbia, Hempstead, southeastern Howard, Lafayette and
Nevada.

* WHEN…Until 915 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 616 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Magnolia, Hope, Nashville, Prescott, Stamps, Waldo,
Lewisville, Mineral Springs, McNeil, Bradley, Taylor, Emmet,
Emerson, Buckner, Perrytown, Rosston, Tollette, Fulton,
Washington and Willisville.
