Flood Warning issued June 8 at 9:53PM CDT until June 9 at 7:18PM CDT by NWS Norman OK

…The National Weather Service in Norman OK has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Oklahoma…

North Canadian River near Watonga affecting Canadian and Blaine
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…North Canadian River near Watonga.

* WHEN…From late tonight to tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Flooding of croplands…pastures… and
rural roads occurs. The floodwaters extend from near Watonga in
Blaine County… downstream to near Calumet in western Canadian
County.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.8 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
– Forecast…The North Canadian River is expected to rise above
flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 16.0
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
