…The National Weather Service in Mobile AL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following river in Alabama…

Bayou Sara At Saraland affecting Mobile County.

For the Bayou Sara…including Saraland…Moderate flooding is
forecast.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/mob. Click on
the Rivers and Lakes menu for forecasts and observations.

The next statement will be issued when updates occur.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Bayou Sara at Saraland.

* WHEN…From this morning to early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 5.0 feet, street flooding east of the railroad
becomes widespread.
At 6.0 feet, flooding of residences in the area will occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 4.8 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:30 AM CDT Tuesday was 4.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 5.3
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

FEMA Assistance for Those with Insurance JACKSON, Miss. – While FEMA cannot pay for the same things your insurance covers, FEMA may be able to provide additional money if your insurance settlement doesn’t cover all your essential disaster damage.    Residents in Covington, Grenada, Issaquena, Itawamba, Jefferson Davis, Leflore, Marion, Montgomery, Pike, Smith, and Walthall counties can apply for FEMA assistance for those repairs as well as for certain personal property lost or damaged in the disaster and not covered by insurance. Also, if a decision on your insurance settlement for disaster-caused damage has been delayed longer than 30 days
