Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana…
Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.
.Rainfall amounts of an inch to near three inches over the weekend
into this morning will bring minor to possibly low end moderate
flooding to the Mississinewa River near Ridgeville. The river is
expected to see a crest this evening similar to but a bit lower than
Sunday evening. If additional rainfall develops over that basin this
afternoon the crest could be higher.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.
* WHEN…Until early tomorrow afternoon.
* IMPACTS…At 11.5 feet, Water on the shoulder and edge of SR 1
south of the junction with SR 28 in western Randolph County.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM EDT Monday the stage was 9.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 11.9 feet this evening. It
will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
