Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 9 at 11:33PM MDT until June 9 at 11:45PM MDT by NWS Midland/Odessa TX

At 1133 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles northeast
of Red Bluff Reservoir, or 30 miles southeast of Carlsbad, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Tennis ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Eddy and southwestern Lea Counties.
