Special Weather Statement issued June 10 at 10:36AM EDT by NWS Charleston SC

At 1036 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 6 miles south of Cross to over Kiawah
Island, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include…
North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Goose Creek,
Hanahan, Moncks Corner, McClellanville, Naval Weapons Station
Charleston, Daniel Island and I-26/I-526 Interchange.

This includes the following highways…
I-26 between mile markers 195 and 221.
I-526 between mile markers 11 and 31.
