URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 407 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 550 PM CDT Tue Jun 10 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of South-Central Texas * Effective this Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning from 550 PM until 200 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80 mph possible Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A mix of supercells and clusters should spread generally east-southeastward this evening across parts of south-central Texas. With time, an intense cluster may form and pose a risk for scattered severe/damaging winds, with peak gusts potentially up to 70-80 mph. Otherwise, isolated large hail up to 1-2 inches in diameter will also be possible with any sustained supercell. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55 statute miles north and south of a line from 50 miles west northwest of Del Rio TX to 95 miles east southeast of Del Rio TX.
