Special Weather Statement issued June 11 at 4:12PM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL

At 412 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of George’s Lake, or 10 miles southwest of Green Cove
Springs, moving northwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts around 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Middleburg, Camp Blanding, Doctors Inlet, Lakeside, Penney Farms, and
Asbury Lake.
